Job description
Role Purpose:
The position is responsible to meet and exceed the set revenue targets from the Promotion Space and Advertising Media (static and digital) line items in the operating centers in Egypt. This includes working on building solid rapport with key clients and agencies to enhance the Promotions & Media offerings, through better presentation for self, company and products and be ahead of competition. .
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

1. Meet and exceed the set annual target of Promotions and Media for the operating centres in Egypt.
2. Maintain full occupancy and utilisation of all media and promotional elements available in the operating centres.
3. Maintain an up to date MPM inventory sheet for each operating centre in Egypt and ensure all elements are included and well presented in the mall power-point presentations, rate cards and floor plans.
4. Build a good understanding of the assigned Market Sectors (categories) and establish a strong relationship with the key market players including an up to date Database of the same.
5. Develop and maintain new and existing client relationship in the market through frequent one to one meetings in order to grow client base resulting in direct business growth.
6. Develop and maintain new and existing agency relationship in the market through regular meetings in order to generate bookings from multiple clients within the agency.
7. Accompany the team frequently to their own meetings to observe the sales pitch and ensure compliance with Majid Al Futtaim Presentation Standards and Guidelines.
8. Work on enhancing MPM offerings through preparing set packages by clubbing more than one element and more than one mall for certain categories/industries/retailers.
9. Maintain the booking sheet up to date with all the deals made on MPM System to identify any variances in the numbers and ensure that it is accurate as possible to reflect correct availability of data / information.
10. Develop and present a competitive presentation for all MPM Sales Team on a weekly basis, highlighting the clients booked in various Media & Promotion elements within competitive malls with corresponding photos to reflect as an immediate prospect list for them to approach.
11. Maintain an up to date competitive folder with competitive malls rate cards and presentations.
12. Be accountable for maintaining high quality design standards and visuals for all activations across all media and promotion elements and ensure that they neither compete with the mall nor its tenants.
13. Comply with MPM Administration and Financial Structure, MPM New System, Processes and RDM. This includes providing enough time spans prior to every booking for paperwork and payment processing. Ensure timely dispatch of documents to clients and ensure that all dues are collected in a timely manner.
14. Ensure proper presentation for Majid Al Futtaim in each meeting and that company policies and procedures are properly followed and applied internally and externally to each deal and that proper paper trail is maintained on every deal.
15. Provide all necessary data / reports on a periodic basis pertaining to MPM activities to the Leasing Manager for review, resolutions of issues and prompt decision making.
16. Assist the Leasing Manager in expanding opportunities in promotion & media for each operating centre, with a view of growing the business.
17. Be proactive in self-learning approach initiative towards developing industry knowledge and exposure to elevate expertise in all the new media channels being introduced in the shopping malls locally and worldwide. Compile those learnings on a monthly basis in a brief presentation to be shared with MPM Team, Leasing Manager and Head of Leasing.
18. Ensure compliance with the MAFP SMBU’s Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HC Policies and Procedures at all times; formal dress code, time keeping of the team, leave entry submission on Oracle and knowing their whereabouts at all times.
19. Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the MAFP values across SMBU and ensure that relevant team adhered to and exhibit the same all the time.
20. Build the capability of staff reporting into by providing on time regular feedback including annual review on performance and identify areas of improvement / reinforcement for further development.

Personal Characteristics and Required Background:
Minimum Qualifications/education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Marketing or equivalent.
Minimum experience
- Minimum 6 – 8 years’ work experience in Marketing and managing media advertising sales and promotional activities preferably in a reputed Retail / Large Shopping Malls in Egypt
